Note: Not intended for long-term use due to the risk of dependence.

• Standard adult dose: 7.5 mg once daily at bedtime

• Should be taken just before sleeping, ensuring a full 7–8 hours of rest

• Swallow the tablet whole with water

• Avoid alcohol and other CNS depressants

Common:

• Bitter or metallic taste

• Daytime drowsiness or fatigue

• Dry mouth

• Dizziness

• Headache

Less common but serious:

• Sleepwalking or engaging in activities while not fully awake

• Memory loss (anterograde amnesia)

• Behavioral changes or mood swings

• Dependence and withdrawal symptoms with prolonged use
